Emre completed his Master’s degree in Advanced Materials Science at Queen Mary University of London in 2023. His Master’s research focused on investigating novel magnetic hyperthermia materials with potential applications in therapeutic cancer drug development. Emre also gained valuable industrial experience at Metalchemy Ltd. in London, where he researched antimicrobial polymers for food packaging solutions. In 2024, he embarked on a PhD journey at the University of Birmingham, working under the guidance of Dr. Maria Chiara Arno. His research now explores functionalized polymer morphologies and their role in enhancing cell adherence.
